Blast Sanding Garnet

Blast sanding garnet is used as an abrasive in high-pressure water jet cutting equipment, commonly known as abrasive water cutters. Because of its versatility and ease of operation, water jet cutting is the fastest growing major machine tool processing technology in the world. When water is pressurized to 40,000 PSI (or higher) and passed through a small opening, it can cut a wide variety of soft materials including food, paper, diapers, rubber and foam. If a small amount of garnet sand is added to and mixed with the water jet, the resulting grit-laden water jet can cut virtually any hard material, including metals, composites, stone and glass. Our jet grade garnet abrasive is composed entirely of naturally occurring iron-aluminum garnet ore, which is naturally high in hardness, abrasion resistance and non-toxic and non-heavy metal. Garnet grits for sand blasting are mainly available in 10-20 mesh, 20-40 mesh, 30-60 mesh and 80 mesh. They can also be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Garnet grits are pure, silica-free, low in chlorine, sulfate-free, and free of heavy metals, and are manufactured to the highest product quality standards. Its special fine-grained products are used in other special surface treatment areas, such as the aluminum industry, chainsaw blade industry, fiberglass industry, etc.
